Sirris launched its AM Integrated Factory on November, 14th 2017. The presentation shows Sirris’ view on how 3Dprinting needs to be integrated on the shop floor. Continue reading “Sirris’ vision on AM Integrated Factory – Presented by Stijn Lambrechts, Sirris”

Industrializing Additive Manufacturing – Presented by Omar Fergani, Siemens Industry Software

Omar Fergani

Industrializing Additive Manufacturing – Presented by Omar Fergani, Siemens Industry Software B.V, at the AM Integrated Factory Conference, December 4, 2018, at Brightlands Chemelot Campus, Sittard-Geleen, The Netherlands.

The presentation will demonstrate how Siemens industrializes additive manufacturing; how we design and produce useful parts at scale.
The session will highlight the methodologies and the software tools that we use to turn next generation design ideas (in this case from Bugatti and Siemens Power and Gas) into commercial products. Scaling up 3D printing production with automated post-processing – Presented by Stefan Rink, CEO, AM-Flow, at the AM Integrated Factory Conference, December 4, 2018, at Brightlands Chemelot Campus, Sittard-Geleen, The Netherlands.

With increasing production volumes, the 3D printing supply-chain must adapt. Traditional supply-chain solutions are not always suitable, as 3D printing enables the cost-effective production of complex geometries in small batch-sizes (High Mix, High Volume).

Bottle-necks in scaling up production, are the identification, sorting, transport and packaging processes. These processes are currently done manually and the cost scale linearly with production capacity.

AM-Flow solves a critical step by fully automating these processes, by using proven methods from traditional manufacturing and advanced methods, such as machine vision.

AM-Flow enables the next step in industrial polymer 3D printing, towards lean six sigma en Quick Response Manufacturing. Continue reading “Scaling up 3D printing production with automated post-processing – Presented by Stefan Rink, AM-Flow”
